As a son of hairstylists, Shannon grew up with a love and passion for the hair. Now an internationally known Platform Artist and Education/Creative Director, his talents have allowed him to lead a team of 1600 educators supporting 57 countries while leading trainings and stage shows in countries like England, Portugal, Italy, Spain, Jamaica, Trinidad, Korea, Canada, Sweden, Finland, Jamaica, Mexico, Australia, South Africa, China, Brazil, Bali and Singapore. Shannon’s appeared on the Oprah show doing make-overs and enjoys working backstage each season at New York Fashion Week.
Allyson has over 26 years of salon professional and salon leadership experience as the Co-Owner and CEO of Hair & Co BKLYN and Beauty 360 Consulting and former President and CEO of Dessange Group North America, Vice President of Education for Clarins, and head of the salon division for such companies as; Ulta Beauty and ColorWorks Salon a division of Ratner Companies. She became a Stylist right out of high school and later an American Board Certified Haircolorist. She writes a blog for Salon Today and was featured in Beauty Fashion Magazines “Counter Culture”, Salon Today “2013 Enterprising Women” and Scholar Magazine “Making It Personal”.
Rondeann is a learner for life! Whether it’s on the runway at New York Fashion Week, at the Keune HairCosmetics Academy where she is an Academy Color Trainer or with the team at Hair & Co BKLYN she’s continuously educating herself to stay on trend for her clients. Rondeann believes beauty is in the eye of the beholder and when you sit in her chair she’s committed to giving her clients that little extra so you leave feeling like a star.
Melinda has over 15 years of experience in both cutting an styling, the past nine of which have been in NYC and most recently, Boerum Hill, Brooklyn. As both an Aveda and Wella trained artist she has also participated with her past team(s) in NYC Fashion Week, as a featured stylist for Showtime's Californication and MTV Makeover for The VH1 Video Music Awards. Ultimately though, she most enjoys educating and being inspired behind the chair connecting with her clients. Melinda is a gutsy haircutter and artistic colorist but listens then sets to task creating an individual style that translates into beautiful and wearable looks that guests can replicate at home, on their own!
Accumulating information from Chicago, Manhattan, Brooklyn, Boston and Paris his experience in communication and hairdressing stands noticeably next to his drive and charm. Now seven years in the salon industry Irmen has worked alongside international educators, session and salon stylists, and clients uncovering simple and cohesive ways to share his knowledge.
Coming to Brooklyn by way of Seattle, Nathalie produces a natural look for her clients. Her style replicates that of Seattle's old grunge scene; easy, wash and go cuts and fun, low maintenance hair color. Proficient in dry cutting and styling of natural curls/waves as well as hair painting, she is sure to work with you to get the effortless hairstyle you've always desired.
Nathalie was a lead colorist and color educator while working at a Top 200 Salon back in Seattle. She has trained with the likes of Ian Michael Black, Jon Reyman, Derek Hook, Lisa Vann and William Edge. At NYFW she styled hair for designers such as Nicholas K, Yohanix, Chris Gelinas, Louis Verdad, Chiara Boni, Cynthia & Xiao, and Vivianne Tam. Her work has been published in Guiseppina Magazine, and she was nominated for New Comer of the Year for the Northwest Hairstyling Awards.
Auralis is a New York Metro area based artist. She has known her whole life that the beauty industry was her calling and has dedicated the last 19 years to honing her gifts and sharpening her skills. Auralis has a strong concentration in editorial and bridal beauty but also a loyal clientele as a hair colorist and stylist. Passionate about providing the absolute best service matched with exceptional work, she is constantly learning the technical applications of the latest trends and traveling near and far to accommodate her client’s busy schedules creating beautiful work and mentoring the future stars of our industry
Hailing from San Francisco, Emmi has called Brooklyn home for the last 7 years. With an Aveda education, she began her career in salons and as a private hairstylist for clients in the Meatpacking and Chelsea neighborhoods of Manhattan. Before joining our Hair and Co family, she freelanced doing everything from weddings and bridal week at Kleinfelds, to Victoria Secret, WeTV network and on set for music videos & editorial. Emmi brings her haute urban style to her chair and at once makes you feel at ease and stylish.
Stacy Ann is a Jersey Girl. She travels across the river to bring her years of color knowledge and behind the chair experience to the eclectic residence of Brooklyn. A long-time educator with Keune Haircosmetics, she was nominated for Artist of the Year, completed Keune's Master of the Craft Series and was among the first to be Keune Color Certified. Though she is color strong, Stacy Ann can cut, style and make any guest feel comfortable.
MoRiya is a hair and make-up artist who creates custom looks clients can rock with confidence and feel good in their own skin. Custom coloring and cutting is her thing, whether your style is soft and simple, bold and edgy or your looking for a dramatic change healthy beautiful hair is always the priority. Winner of the Stella Award for Best Hair Professional, MoRiya is certified in corrective coloring, precision cutting, hair extensions, makeup artistry and waxing. Active in the LGBTQ community and Advocate for Adoption and Foster Care Youth she also enjoys Roller Derby, Yoga, Dancing and time in the Gym.
