As a son of hairstylists, Shannon grew up with a love and passion for the hair. Now an internationally known Platform Artist and Education/Creative Director, his talents have allowed him to lead a team of 1600 educators supporting 57 countries while leading trainings and stage shows in countries like England, Portugal, Italy, Spain, Jamaica, Trinidad, Korea, Canada, Sweden, Finland, Jamaica, Mexico, Australia, South Africa, China, Brazil, Bali and Singapore. Shannon’s appeared on the Oprah show doing make-overs and enjoys working backstage each season at New York Fashion Week.
Allyson has over 26 years of salon professional and salon leadership experience as the Co-Owner and CEO of Hair & Co BKLYN and Beauty 360 Consulting and former President and CEO of Dessange Group North America, Vice President of Education for Clarins, and head of the salon division for such companies as; Ulta Beauty and ColorWorks Salon a division of Ratner Companies. She became a Stylist right out of high school and later an American Board Certified Haircolorist. She writes a blog for Salon Today and was featured in Beauty Fashion Magazines “Counter Culture”, Salon Today “2013 Enterprising Women” and Scholar Magazine “Making It Personal”.
Melinda has over 15 years of experience in both cutting an styling, the past nine of which have been in NYC and most recently, Boerum Hill, Brooklyn. As both an Aveda and Wella trained artist she has also participated with her past team(s) in NYC Fashion Week, as a featured stylist for Showtime's Californication and MTV Makeover for The VH1 Video Music Awards. Ultimately though, she most enjoys educating and being inspired behind the chair connecting with her clients. Melinda is a gutsy haircutter and artistic colorist but listens then sets to task creating an individual style that translates into beautiful and wearable looks that guests can replicate at home, on their own!
Chad Taber is a veteran in the salon and has spent over a decade working as a highly requested contract artist and Certified Colorist for Keune Haircosmetics. He thrives by sharing his experience and knowledge with other salon professionals, including his role as the Color Coach in Prospect Heights. Chad has worked with the Keune International Team back stage at New York Fashion Week and at Keune Evolution events, and he enjoys special event styling and working on set for editorials. He relocated to Brooklyn in 2015 to join the Hair & Co BKLYN team and he brings a fresh eye to the Brooklyn hair scene, inspired by fluid color, geometric shapes and a lived-in aesthetic. Experimental color techniques and avant garde cuts, styles and construction also feed his creative vibes.
Rondeann is a learner for life! Whether it’s on the runway at New York Fashion Week, at the Keune HairCosmetics Academy where she is an Academy Color Trainer or with the team at Hair & Co BKLYN she’s continuously educating herself to stay on trend for her clients. Rondeann believes beauty is in the eye of the beholder and when you sit in her chair she’s committed to giving her clients that little extra so you leave feeling like a star.
